R56 R56 Week 11 Production Group
jmelrose: I think we can mope around here together. I was a week 10 build, but Higgins is waiting to be loaded onto a ship. (They couldn't quite squeeze him onto the one that sailed a few days ago).
Another frustration is that I haven't been able to check status with Wallenius Wilhelmsen all day. They've been having server issues.

Was it built on Feb. 26, or are you waiting for it to be built at the end of March? Your message said both.
Just got a VIN number so I guess I'm in this group.

Thanks for clearing that up, Loui. How soon after your car completed production were you able to find information that it was aboard the Trianon?
Auto transport from Oxford to the port was on the 5th of March. It was on that same day that pasting the vin into the WW site that the car showed up as having a place on the Trianon. However, you are never sure until the ship departs port that it wasn't pulled off.
Mine walked out the factory doors today and has its thumb out looking for a ride to Southampton. Apparently, not confident enough to make the trip on its own.
Paint shop is about 1/2 way. Then comes assembly, then Quality Control.

I was told today by my MA that my MCS is going to built 3/15/07! Forgive me for not knowing this or searching, but how do I find out what stage my car is at once the day comes around? Also, how about the time change, I'm EST. Thanks guys, I can't wait for this and I know the rest of you feel the same way!!!
Mine has a final destination of sunny California. Where is yours headed after that?
Funny thing is that I was born in Port Hueneme. Interesting that the car's first steps ashore in the U.S. will be at the same place. I have a name for her, but if it has a name, it's considered a person and will have to go through immigration when coming into the country. Simpler process if it's still considered a product.
Mine is headed to Oregon. In fact, the truck will drive right past me here on I-5 and then I'll have to chase it 200 miles to Portland. Oh well, that will give me a nice drive home.
P.M. me if you obtain the ship booking number. I'll do the same for you. So far, the VIN search on the WW site isn't showing anything. So I assume it hasn't reached Southampton yet.
Here's the booking number for the Maersk Wind. GBSOU507208. I was a Week 10 build, but didn't make it onto the previous ship. This one's headed for the west coast (scheduled to set sail on 3/14).
It looks like most of the cars on the Maersk Wind were received on Wednesday or Thursday of last week. So, if that means a week of waiting us west coasters are probably looking at something like the Figaro leaving on Monday the 19th if we're lucky. If so, it would be getting into Port Huenne on April 9th.
As for Basil, he's the pepper white MCS with black roof, mirrors and stripes and the red lounge leather. If you need a positivie id...

Count me in!
I ordered my second MINI on 2/28. I already have an order number, but it still shows as "on order" on the owners lounge.
My MA said today that the MINI should be here by mid-april.
So until new info, I guess this is my thread too!
Ordered LB/B MSC pretty much as this pic

I am on the TRIANON due for port on March 29th! All this waiting makes me feel like a little kid!
