R50/53 POLIZEI! MINI Cooper Police Car from Munich
I also saw that exact same Mini infront of the same building around the first of July while I was in Munich! It confused me some b/c it was a regular Mini Cooper with the JCW emblem on back but it still had single stock exhaust
. It had carbon fiber mirror caps, custom carbon fiber rear spoiler, factory aerokit, fog lights, JCW brakes, automatic transmission, and the interior was like a regular Minis with no police equipment ( no radar scanner, etc). I thought it maybe could have been a movie prop or something, but I guess after reading this thread its probably a real patrol car.

Oh ye doubters and skeptics!

I can assure you that the Allegheny County Sheriff MINI "Copper" is indeed 100% real.
The following two images are links to documentation (one is the actual Allegheny County Sheriff's Department website and the other is the article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.)
If you look at the Sherrif's Department site, scroll down the last photo on the page - you can actually see me (just barely) behind the car by the window with the light blue shirt and the balloons above me!
The lights and the siren work. It is, however, primarily used for publicity - especially in the children's initiatives that the Department heads, like the Child Identification Program, but also in parades and such. However, I believe it does perform some "official" duties as well - which is why the lights and siren have to work.
