Hi,

The arm rest in my CM stopped locking shut. Quite annoying as it typically opens up and dumps everything when I pull it up to plug my phone in anyway, but now I must be very careful to avoid dumping. The latch does not clasp as all, just stopped the other day. Noticed when I pulled into work and pulled the rest up to get my phone and dumped the contents out into the rear foot well.

I have just under 44k miles. Does anyone know if MINI will warranty this as part of the car warranty or not? Anyone else had issues w/the arm rest not latching properly?

There is a spring in that clip. They will warranty if as long as you under the mileage and the under the years.

Otherwise you will need a new one: 51169807337
