2007 Mad Dog Sat Vineyard Tour, JULY 7th
Hello MINI Wine Knows,
Be sure and read down for updated postings from me.
2007 Mad Dog Sat Vineyard Tour, JULY 7th
This years Mad Dog show in Kalamazoo is July 8th, so the Vineyard Tour is set for the 7th.
June 10th UPDATE. Thanks to Cliff we have test driven the NEW 120 turns in 85 miles Route, a feast for the eyes and tires.
Even if you are not going to the Mad Dog on Sunday, I hope you will join us on Sat for this drive. If you enjoyed last years Rock Run, You will love this one too.
We will start Sat 9:45 AM CST (Chicago Standard Time) at Anderson's Orchard and Winery, 430 E US 6 Valparaiso IN 46383. Easy way to get there is take 80/90 or 94 to State Rd 49 South to State Rd 6, then EAST about 3.5 miles AOW is on the right side of the road.
Lunch plans. We have a table at Tabor Hill Dining Room for our group.
Please be sure and sign up below, because I'm making each MINI an 18 page map system and only want to print what I need too.

Hello Jmr, welcome to the club, and NAM, have you been too any CMMC events yet? Last year was the 1st year for the Vineyard Tour to Mad Dog. We had 4 MINI's and 7 bodies. I think this year we could have 8-10 MINI's, small outing due the fact that it takes us into K-zoo MI for the night and the Dog is Sunday.
If someone wanted to drive the Tour on Sat, there are a few good places they could head back to Chicago from on the tour. It would be a full day of driving, but would save you the over night if you didn't plan on being at the Dog on Sunday.
We do stress that this is a driving event, and limit tastings for our safety.
Great Roads, Great People, Great Wine, its all just Great Fun!

Ha Ha
When I saw the title I was expecting to see this
from wiki:
MD 20/20 (or Mad Dog) is an American fortified wine produced by Mogen David wineries. MD 20/20 was originally created by Mohawk Liquor in Allen Park, Michigan.

The 1st draft of the Route will be about 84 miles. With stops at 4 Vineyards and a lunch stop. The route will end at Coloma MI on 94, this way anyone that is not going to K-zoo for the Sunday Show can head back west and be in Chicago within 2 hours. Anyone going to K-zoo will be there in an 90 mins.

Hey Cake, The drive you did last year has been changed and then theres another 40 miles that your group did not drive that we found last July. This will be some of the same roads in the, but more new then old. Hope you can join us for the day. Once the 80 miles are done, you can jump on 94 and be home in 90 mins or less. I'll add you to the "maybe" guest list
