Hello everyone!

We are back from the Dragon! Lots of cool things happened this year. We modded a few less cars this year (but just a few) so we were able to hang out with friends and customers at the end of the night. I even made my first farewell dinner! Out of the four years I have been going, this was the first dinner that I have actually been able to make. I think it was pulled off well.

We got rather wet again this year on Saturday, but over all the weather was nice all week. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to see what was going on, or to ask questions. A big thank you to the Rogue MINIs, Cooper Cards and Craven Speed for hanging out with us in the same tight tent all weekend. Next year may call for a bigger tent to fit our big party in there.

I think the biggest news (if you didn’t already know) was I got engaged over the weekend. Two years ago at MOTD3 (in 2005) I modded Tori’s first MINI (thefuturequeenofnebraska), after talking back and forth for a while, and her moving here to Detroit, I knew it was the next step. So I asked her to marry me at the brew swap and she said yes. We are going to start planning a wedding in April of 08 somewhere in the Fontana area. While doing it at the brew swap would be cool, it’s just way too much for us (or Matt) to handle. Thanks again to Matt for letting me pop the question at the swap. Also thanks to everyone that wished us well.

I would also like to give a special thanks to the entire Michigan MINI club that gave us so much help all weekend. Without all you guys and gals I would have missed a few events. Thanks for all you support and help.
