Great looking roadsters! Can't wait for mine to arrive!
Bit of a strange question here.. Why on all the US Roadsters I see does it look like the glovebox has been redesigned? Over here the glovebox is flush and not visible from a top down view - yours seem to have a lip that sticks out? Bit more like a Countryman glovebox.. Any ideas?

I noticed that too. My wife's 2012 Clubman is "normal", and my roadster sticks out. I assumed it was either to give a bit more lockable storage, or to strengthen the lid to make it worth putting a lock on it. Do the UK ones lock too?
I've only seen the pre-production models that the UK dealerships got and they had a 'normal' glovebox that didn't lock. I'm guessing maybe they have changed them all now? I'll post when I get mine, hopefully next week
Yea not the same glovebox as the countryman but I mean the lip that sticks out at the top of the glovebox looks similar on countryman and roadster.
They're the JCW floormats.....my dealer gave me a set for free with my car :-)
I don't actually have those, the post swooshmac commented on had one picture from my car with the standard mats, and one from Liquid's car with the groovy checkered mats. If I had them I'd need winter and summer mats just like I will need winter and summer tyres, the salt and junk over the Boston winter would destroy the nice checkered ones!

You mean to say you'd drive your roadster in the winter? For SHAME!!! j/k, motor on! :-)

I fully intend to have the roof down at least once every month. We did some top-down driving in Canada a couple of weeks ago, at about 5C/40F. Stick a hat on, the heated seats on, the heater at 74F and with the sun shining it's perfectly comfortable. We usually get several days like that over the winter!
I have a question for you, do you have insulation on the underside of your hood. It seems like some JCW Coupes have been showing up with a black insulation pad on the hood underside.
I was wondering if the JCW Roadsters were getting the insulation as well.

My JCW Roadster has the insulation you're talking about. Production started at the end of February.
My JCW Roadster started Production March 4th and it does have the insulation. I am glad that I do. I think it should really help with the scoop warp problem from the past.

Strange. My JCW's production started March 5, no insulation. I wonder what determines which cars get it?

Very Odd indeed!!! And even more strange, my wife's 09 MCS went in for the recall back in February, and I just noticed today that they put a small piece of insulation on it's hood while it was there....not as big as what's on my roadster, but small piece directly under the scoop.
Question though, does your fan run loudly EVERY time you turn the car off for a couple of minutes? I'm wondering if it's normal for the JCW or if that darn insulation is keeping it too warm :-(
