OEM seat cover change advice/help sought 2008 MCS leatherette/sport seats
Hi,
New to me 2008 mini cooper S.
Love it...have been fixing things and the current target is a driver's seat base material change.
I bought the seat base material from a sponsor (the one that sponsors this forum btw ) and it arrived yesterday.
Looks "interesting"...lots of clips and such. Was wondering if anyone had any advice/experience with changing out the base. I'd prefer to do it in the car and it looks like it is sans any electrical issues (car has seat heaters and clearly all the airbag sensors and such).
Thank you in advance everyone. Love this forum.
Jeff

Solution: I am not even going to try this on my own. The thing was expensive, looks easy to rip, and speaking to a professional installer takes a LONG time for an expert to install correctly. So I am having the expert do it.
Once on, I might look at some sort of seat cover to prevent this...something "sporty" ....so open to suggestions.
