Hey everyone, I've got a 2008 cooper base with the big roof, but there's a problem with the rear panel.

When I open it, both panels tilt up, and then the rear goes down and the front slides back as usual. When this happens, the passenger side of the rear panel doesn't tilt up as much as the driver side.

When closing the roof, there is a loud click as the roof gets to the beginning, and the rear panel goes up then down, but the rear panel pass. side doesn't go up as much again, and 4 out of 5 times it stays halfway tilted. Most times, I have to manually push it down to get it flush.

Has anyone had this problem? When I did a google search, the only thread I could find was in a bmw forum where X3 owners did a permanent mod to disable the rear panel from tilting. Do you guys think this might apply to the Mini?
