Ecu Tune Help

Im looking into getting a ECU tune and the 1 im planning on getting is the 1 from Revolution Mini. I think the mans name is Jan. I was just curious because on the site i see the ECU tune is 350 and then the ECU Flash tool is 300. Do i have to buy the tool then again spend the 350 for the tune? of do i buy the flash tool and 1 tune comes with it? If anyone on here has done this with him please let me know. I want to try and get it done ASAP.. Thank You

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.....but it's $300 for the tool, and then and additional $300 for the tune......PLUS, unless you just want a canned tool (which don't get you much), you are going to have to set up a time to get your car on a local chassis dyno ($100-$300?) and Jan will do the tune remotely.

When it's all said and done....expect to pay around $750-$1000 when it's all said and done. Not worth it in my opinion unless you HAVE to have a tune because your car just won't run right (bigger injectors, aftermarket cam, custom head work, ...ect....).

I'd have to imagine you can find someone local with a flash tool. Unless these are somehow paired to a specific ECU.
