My current fun times

Thought about finally making a thread about my car on here.

2006 R50 Base
Pure Silver

I had alot of fun the past two weeks with this car and it only gets better.
Need to get into a proper shop and really get other stuff done on it but that will come soon.

Some pictures of what is put on currently

LIST:
Hotchkis Rear Lower Camber Links
Koni STR.T Orange Shocks & Struts
PowerFlex Yellow Rear Shock Bushings
Way Motor Works Front Strut Bump Stops
TEIN Lowering Springs - R-P1G75-OUO MB2
Continental DWS Extreme Contact
Enkei 17" (Will be Changed soon)
Rebuild with 70K on engine and trans
Body with 190k but in very good condition considering mileage

It has some rust on the hood. But easily fixing that with some sand paper and paint. Trim also needs to be repainted black, specially on the front bumper.

What else has been done out side of "mods":
Fixed Power Steering Fan.
This was interesting for me because all that needed to be done was to clean it up and put it back on and it runs smooth and silky like a brand new one. Id rather fix it and understand it more than just replacing it and throwing money away. So i tore it down cleaned it up threw some lube on it and put her back on... Fixed.
I also put some Electrical tape around the harness ends so it stays connected and doesnt break or come apart. (Check your harness clips they might be destroyed).
Replaced Power Steering Hoses
Will have a video explaining the process up some time this week.

A pic

TO DO LIST:
INNER & OUTER Ball Joints Both Side
Control Arm Bushings and Housing Both Sides
New Exhaust & Header Kit (megan ?) Suggestions
Coolant Flush
New Spark Plugs
New Spark Plug Wires
New Coil Pack
New Cold Air Intake (route Some flex pipes to get as much air under there as possible)

The control arm housings and bushings i think will be the most pain staking part of this entire car.....
Just looking at how im going to get to the rear bolts to remove them looks to be a pain....plus having to put the car into front end service mode then drop the subframe then remove the bushings and housings and reverse order...will yup be an all day project for sure...specially not having the proper garage to do so....

Front yard working....not the wisest nor safest...but its something.
I never put myself completely under the car and i dont work if i dont feel comfortable working on it. Thats why it takes me longer than most to certain projects..but this is my personal vehicle and its coming to be an amazing fun drive.
It needs these new bushings though, thats the most important part of it all. Im thinking of just towing it to trusted shop and get them to work on it for me and ill shell out some cash to them...
Do the ball joints myself but have them do my control arm bushings.. rather be safer than sorry.

Tonight if mayweather wins ill be able to put it in the shop if not...well ya see what happens
