2006 R53 Checkmate build almost complete
Hey folks,
I am new to this forum but I joined to hopefully get some guidance on the last couple mods.
I have the 6 speed automatic and here is the list of mods completed.
Exterior:
Carbon Fiber front splitter.
Black Aero Kit Grille upper and lower
M7 Vortex hood Scoop
Interior:
Rear Seat delete
Sparco R333
Engine mods:
Upgraded Camshaft -
Intake: Duration 264, Lift 9.5mm, overlap 0.5, peak timing 114, open at 18, close at 66.
Exhaust: Duration 272, Lift 9.0mm, overlap 0.65, peak timing 114, open at 70, close at 22.
MSD coil with Nology hotwires
15% supercharge pulley
Cold Air Intake System with ABS Big Air Cowling Partition
Forge Motorsport's Performance oversized Air-to-Air Intercoler
Engine Stabilizer, All motor mounts replaced (vibra Technics,Powerflex, and BSH)
Flexible alloy dipstick
Sprint Booster
Unichips Uni-Q Piggy back ECU
BSH Catch Can
Borla Performance series cat-back exhaust.
Suspension:
Under Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates Pair
Carbon Fiber Rear Strut Brace
Whiteline 20mm Rear Adjustable Anti-Sway
Powerflex Steering Rack Mount Bushing
Precision Steering Amplifier (extends lower ball joint)
M7 Strut Tower Brace front
Front Strut Tower Diagonal Brace
StopTech drilled and slotted rotors with EBC Red Stuff pads
Tires:
RV70741442A - MOMO REVENGE 17x7
BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2
So my final mods I would like to do but not sure on the durability of the Tranny.
First Sprintex supercharger? M7 put out a Sprintex kit for Automatics but then quickly discontinued. I asked them why as well as Sprintex, but no one will answer... Anyone no why it was discontinued???
Transmission its self - Anyone familiar with automatic shift kits for this 6 speed automatic. Not being an American built tranny I can't find anything.
Lastly anyone build a custom under body flat panel front to back?
Cheers,

you have your self a nice built mini! I think the sprintex for auto has been taken down because sprintex has been having oil seal issues.... there is a whole thread about sprintex owners with mountains of information in the modifications section. and someone also did a DIY with plastic poster board on an under body, looked preety good! I forget if that's under the drivetrain or exterior in modifications
