The little bugger still cleans up well
With the drought and resulting water restrictions in California, the cars are being neglected. Decided to break civil responsibility and wash, polish, and wax the MINI today and share the results. Not bad for a 8.5 year old car nearing 100K miles IMHO.

Thanks Guys!
I use Griot's Garage stuff and broke out the orbital buffer today. We're East Bay as well, Oakland Hills. It's garaged as well but a daily commuter so it gets dusty but last week's few drops of rain really made it look neglected. I also maximize the water. I keep the left over water to clean the wheels of all the cars to extend the clean look, wash the one that needs it most using as little water as possible and repeat. It's been an 8 to 10 week interval for each car.
It's not perfect, some small stone chips from driving to Tahoe in the winter and minor wheel scrapes from parallel parking battles, but no body work, no dings and still shiny. It's held up better than I thought it would.
The wheels are OZ but don't recall the model. I don't think they make that style any more, they've been on the car for at least 6 or 7 years. I still have the stock wheels with winter tires on them for when we used to drive it to Tahoe in the winter. Those days are mostly over.

That's a very clean PW MCS. Interior looks great for the mileage.
Nice job.
