AUX Install

i thought i read somewhere that their is a simple way of installing the aux plug without having to remove the radio . It would seem if you were able to remove the right or left side panels you could possibly wedge your arm up there in order to connect the aux connector? is this true or will i have to remove the panels?

You can indeed do it that way, but most people that do it this way do it because they have already done the job before the other method and know exactly where the plug is. .But honestly removing the pillars, panels, and stereo is super easy. I recently installed an Aux kit and total of 30 minutes and I took my time making the install clean.

Easiest install ever you guys were right . After the install i was pretty pissed off because the sound was VERY low . I then found the HK Settings and was able to crank it up to "aux 4" with the "driver" setting .

What are you playing it through that you found it to be quiet? It's not the first time I've heard that so it makes me wonder, mine goes loud enough that I would never have to turn it up all the way. I usually keep my iphone volume down a couple notches and the aux on 2.

an LG G2 i find that having the volume one or 2 knotches down on the phone works best . As soon as i changes the "aux" Setting from 1 to 2 i let out a sigh of relief. I listen to music pretty loud so im at 4 now . The driver setting seems pretty good to.
