replacing mini boost speedo with basic speedo

Hi everyone,

I know there have been a few posts about converting the normal speedo to the visual boost type but I would like to do the opposite

I have the mini visual boost display speedo in my MCS and was wondering if it was possible to remove it and install the basic speedo without the display and boost software? will I have to do a cpu re-flash to make everything work correctly?

Any help on this matter would be great!

umm, if possible, there are about 1000 people who will trade you their basic speedo unit in a heartbeat. myself included. (dibs)
