Odds and ends:
I have a little glass display of MINI stuff... swag, brochures, goodies... even the Bentley's repair manual... you'll get all of that as you want to. MINI magazines, etc.

And the most important part. What kind of car is this?

This is not a 'cheap deal' kind of car. This is a MINI-fan kind of car. I love to keep things as tip-top as I can. The car always gets props, "wow, this is a 2009??"... mostly used for me, and my one kid. No, the kid doesn't get to jump around, step on things, eat snacks inside (I know, terrible OCD parent when it comes to my car!)...

I did a lot of hand washing, waxing, vinyl protection myself (stuff like using Nero or other quality products). You'll get some of the left overs I have that don't apply to my replacement car.

Let's get the 'awww, crap' out of the way:

The JCW challenge wheels are not pristine. They are mechanically perfect, of course, they have been involved in no serious accident, but they are part of a summer car as a daily driver, in the Boston area (sigh), and I have rashed them a bit (ugh each time, oh well). Still, you will be happy to have them. Of

The car has done some autocrossing, and one track session. But this is and always was my daily driver, so nothing bonkers. The tires that are on right now have gone through no such events. At the track I did go off course into the gravel, that sprayed little micro pebbles onto one of the wheels and onto parts of the lower side of the body skirt and a bit of the painted areas. I never deemed it enough to do anything about it (I would probably have bought a new black rubber skirt part to take care of most of the visuals). The JCW wheels are not worth worrying about.

Two more things:
Scratch and nicks, there is only a single one worth writing about: This winter, I scratched one of the side doors as I was moving a snow blower past the car, with the handle. My heart sunk, it is a true scratch, about 9 inches long or so? worth repairing? Yes if you don't want to have an obvious scratch. OTOH I am preferring to let a buyer decide if they want to just mask it themselves with hand solutions or do something major. I am split as to the value of spending too much to fix it (I feel that a 'repaint' of the door would just be too much considering that I know how to mask those scratches pretty well w/ a variety of products). Oh, I do own some Chili Red touch up paint still (although it has been stored for some years, no idea if that would affect things).
In the boot, there is an electric cig lighter thing; it has the subwoofer power plugged in there at all times. Sadly, that cig lighter socket detached, somehow, like a retainer clip must have broken and now I can not really clip it back into the inner panel, so it sticks out a bit. I can imagine quite a few ways to "just fix it", probably can be competely fixed, but I have not bothered.

If you want, I can throw in my Recaro child seat that I find fits well in the clubbie. Have manual still, purchase date is there, car has never been hit anyways so it's all sound.

Pics of course, PICS!!! See following posts.

The car is available for anybody that would like to come see it, in the boston area, Waltham/Watertown area is where it stays.

The car was garaged for about three years of its life both at work and at home. The last three have been garaged at work, driveway at home.

Probably enough at this point. PM me, shoot me any offer you want. I reached my price by KBB of a JCW car, and adjusted due to the unique and exceptional kind of car this is. Officially fully negotiable, "OBO" and all that. Tell me what you think! Make your case, etc. I truly believe though, do not attempt to get this car "cheap" to tell your friends what a killing deal, as I am not in need of the money desperately, I want this to find a good home, I want to have the buyer understand and appreciate the great parts (and the amazing life left in this car, look at the mileage!!)... and realize that this is the kind of car that you compare to other alternatives at similar price points, NOT to save cash. Speaking of mileage, the car gets a healthy city/highway mix. Not going to say "all highway miles", no, it's not. It's a suburban car. But it has lived its entire life by Route 2 and Route 2 isn't stop and go traffic. I have always done reverse commute; this car doesn't do stop and go, it does daily city suburban stuff, then it gets healthy drives on weekends to 30minute places, it has done good long distance BOS-NY, BOS-NH trips, etc. Never been a worry car. "Why are you letting it go?". This is where you the buyer will get lucky - I have just had an itch for getting a new toy. It took me a lot to say that I had to let the MINI brand go (at least for now). I am a huge huge fan, when you see my collection of swag you'll understand. I have done three minis on tops. One segment of a MTTS. Other fun rallys, events. This is not being let go for any other reason than to not own two cars. If I had ANY way of justifying truly owning two cars... this car would stay with me. (heck, if nobody values it enough I'm just going to find a way to keep it! ... )

All service records available, full log of service and gas (on an iphone app I can export to you). I just did a service (the day I got a replacement car), $600 and inspection and nothing is pending at the moment.

Noteable service items:
Very early in its life it got some service around fog light issues, never been an issue ever again
The timing chain thing, I have had it 'taken care of' twice by dealers. Measures well, they replace a thing or two each time. Truth be told, it likes to do that cold rattle sound on some mornings, mostly winter, and you just let it 'warm up' a few seconds, go easy on it and by the time you are about two blocks out from your house, it's smooth sounding again.
Spark plugs just replaced (following the "30K since you have tuning kit" advice)
Rear sway bar has been about a year and a few months, never an issue

Questions, request for more info shoot them! Look forward to giving this baby a new home.

edit: photos added, mention it's auto

I had updated the price in the post.

This is now on *gasp* craigslist which means some Joe or Jane is about to take it home. For those reading this post, there will be a NAM special pricing discount... take it home for $13'250 between Aug 1 and Aug 15. After that it's back up to my lowest price.
