May regret this later, but in a moment of weakness (read: financial need) I am putting up for sale my 1984 Austin Mini 1000 Mayfair Edition. It is right hand drive with a 4 speed manual transmission. I replaced the original steel wheels with 12" MiniLites, and have recently had the brake master cylinder replaced. It is in amazing condition inside and out, save for the paint which is beginning to show small lines. I will be taking it this evening or next to have it assessed for repainting and will divulge all information to any prospective buyers. I will also give you the contact information of my personal mechanic who has done all the work to this car over the past few years.

It currently only has just over 23,000 original miles. It has almost no rust anywhere. Everything works as it should, and it could legitimately could be used for a daily driver. It is also a major head turner and would be a great show car. Everything on the car (except for the wheels, fender flares, and headlights) is completely original, right down to the AM radio that actually works!

It is the luxurious Mayfair edition, which gives it two, count em two(!) side view mirrors, a blue velour interior, and the speedometer cluster behind the steering wheel instead of in the center of the dash.

Almost forgot to post pictures of the engine bay. The engine is completely original, 995 cc. The fuel lines have been replaced recently.
