Exhaust jcw r60
Good Evening All,
So in an effort to get the perfect sound out of my JCW R60, I decided to follow some advice and go to a local muffler shop and have them remove only the muffler and fabricate a Y-pipe exhaust out the back. At first it sounded pretty good but the exhaust has small pockets of drone and is a bit too loud for what I was looking.
Now I have decided to take the plunge and just go ahead and buy a prefabricated exhaust from either VIP or Supersprint. Please let me know about the sound on either and what you think.
The reason I chose to start with these is because they make them especially for the JCW body kit and seems to have the highest quality. I don't want to have to have someone modify to fit correctly or end up replacing again because of poor build quality.
Thanks in advance for the input.
Brett

Check out REMUS here. Overall quality is top notch and the sound is great. More than a few members have installed REMUS on their MINI's. Posted a few threads below for you.

You could make others fit and cut the tips off since the JCW exhaust tips are separate. or not install the tips at all.

Keeping the OEM look and then getting the non OEM sound.
