Removing the wheel trim/sideskirts

Is the process the same on our 2nd gen's as the first gen? I'm going to dip my entire car again and this time I want to remove the trim and skirts and spray them separate this time due to some of the pieces being very close to the body and the dip connecting between the trim and body... it just doesn't look as clean as I would like.

Thanks!
