New GP2 prices
For this of you who recall, I was planning on getting a GP2 after I sold my M5. I ended up getting a Lexus GS-F sport but still planning on getting the GP within a few months after I exit my other lease, 335 hybrid. There seem to be plenty of GPs left around the country - my guess is at least 30-40 of them are still out there and they aren't moving nor being heavily discounted. The best I have seen is 36K (but at least you can get 0.9 financing now). I am wondering what are the dealers waiting for holding on to these cars, now that the 3rd generation is around the corner which I assume will be a 2015(?). What I think might happen is some kind of trunk cash from Mini which will help push these out the door, but one way or another they have to sell them. We might see a situation of deep discounts but once supply runs out, the used market will bounce back. I have seen this happen with the last year of the M6 (previous body style, 2010). By 2011, the left over 2010s were going for 35-40K below sticker(!) but once supply ran out, used ones were actually more expensive than the new ones on sale at such steep discounts. That's my 2 cents and I welcome any thoughts or feedback

I was thinking the same thing myself. A Dealer I know has 4 of them and they are just sitting.
40K for no back seats and no cruise, etc... Its a tough sell. If they get discounted a good bit I will bite, if not lets see what the new JCW will put out. Rumor is 220, so it will be a tough choice.
Drove one and wow it was amazing. Love that thing
