Thanks for the picture! I guess the tabs Gil is talking about are the small ones around the outside edge.

Its it. The Rear Air discharge is the same , only difference is the with PDC and without PDC. This one is without and does not have that little hole for the sensor above the opening. Those inner tabs don't have a use as of with this application.
The rear left ( driver side ) additional back up light.
And the discharge ( NON PDC )
You can see they are just held with the tabs.

Reach up behind it push out the back ( from under the rear bumper ) , Reach other hand around the front to hold it when it comes out , so it does not drop and break.

Sorry , do you have the JCW GP 2 diffuser in the way. You should be able to reach up behind that bumper, not near the rear wheel well. But towards the exhaust, then up.
Thanks
Thanks

You are welcome, I thought I remember you having it. . Yea the GP2 diffuser does take up a little bit of the access from the muffler side to the rear fog / backup light. But wow does it look great when installed.

Trim tool here is you need it. I popped them out the back kind of way. Just have to watch so you don't scratch the frame. Its all your technique.

A few other helpful hints if you take on this mod:
1. Make sure you get a good, watertight seal on the LED socket, either using a silicone sealant or copious amounts of liquid tape. Any little gap will allow road spray moisture to get into the lens, obviously leading to other potential problems.
2. Test the LED rear fog lights before reinstalling the lenses into the bumper cover. If the polarity is reversed (i.e, the bulb is flipped in the socket) the bulb won't illuminate.
(For one that I had inadvertently reversed, I found it easier to just switch the wire leads leading to the socket. The alternative is to unseal and take out the LED socket so you can flip the bulb around, right after you've just done the work of sealing it up).
3. Take it easy when you twist the LED sockets into place. If you use too much force you can snap off the little retaining tabs on the socket. Since they're cheap, I recommend ordering a couple of extras just in case.
Good luck!

I put two small LED Cree lights (1.2 watt each) in the black plastic piece on each side of the license plate on the back of my Clubman, and wired it to the wires for the normal back up light, so they come on when I put it in reverse. It works great, but I keep getting the light bulb icon on the tach display. Is that something I should be concerned about or just ignore?
