CRM's Laurel Highlands Tour - Take 2
Saturday, September 5th:
Let's meet-up for breakfast at 8:30AM at Ruby and Ketchy's, and be on the road no later than 9:30AM.
Our stops can include: Braddock Inn Flea Market, Cucumber Falls, Casselman Bridge, Springs Store, Salisbury Trestle, and the Western Maryland Station in Meyersdale.
As this will be a holiday weekend, these stops will hopefully be less visited, but interesting to all none the less. To the contrary, we can expect the flea market parking lot to be rather full.
The Springs Store is a wonderful Amish grocery store with great baked goods, cheese, meats, bulk foods, you name it. Cooler?
I'll distribute a detailed route description before we leave Ruby and Ketchy's, but from start to finish we'll cover about 85 miles. It's 77 miles back from Meyersdale to the I-79 and I-68 interchange.
