plumbing for a catch can

plumbing for a catch can
Does anyone have a good diagram for how to properly plumb a catch can? I have tried a couple of methods and am not sure how to do it the best. You can't just cap of the rear and intake manifold ports for the PCV. You get a can full of crap and an engine that doesn't run at its best.
Thanks mates, DR

BTW, that's a really early 1100 in my pic, besides the 2cc, what's the difference between an 1100 and a 1098?
I guess this could be a 1071, but I had one of those in my 62 Cooper S and the badge on it said 1071, not 1100.
I guess the only way to know for sure is to pull the head and measure the bore - the 1071 and 1098 had very different bore/stroke combinations.

What Are PCV Oil Catch Cans?
http://oilcatchcan.com/
read that then these comments apply ....
for me ... I have old school filters on my breathers on the 79 ... no PCV or any associated lines ....
race cars would want/need catch cans as oil being dispersed to the track (as might happen with my simple breathers) is a NO NO ..... same reason they run water versus anti-freeze for a coolant .... AF is slippery when spilled on the track ... water is a non-issue.
