New Older Mini
Hi all. As a few may have noticed I've been haunting around here for a week or so but finally got around to posting the greeting post.
The family and I recently moved to CO (back to CO for me) from NM.
I bought a 2009 fJCW (pretty sure, need to verify when I get back) in British Racing Green with the black top. I dubbed it 'Corsair' due to the planned Black Jack theme and sunshade, along with other reasons. Only option on it that I can recall are the driving lights. I got to drive it for all of a week before getting deployed, needless to say looking forward to getting back for some more wheel time.
It's going to be my errand/inclement weather car for when I can't ride the motorcycle for one reason or another. But I get the feeling I'll drive it a bit extra just for fun. I knew I missed small cars (had a '94 Plymouth Sundance Duster that was a quick l'il car for the time, fun although heavy) but didn't realize how much. I'm hoping to teach my wife to drive stick on it as well, although she's skeptical.
Lots of mods already getting planned so thanks for all the input and discussions on here.
I think I have pics in my garage, but if those don't work for some reason I'll add 'em.

Thanks all. If all goes well with this one once the kids get older might see if the wife wants one. But she loves her minivan for now so it could be a while.
I'm deployed at the moment so just have the few cell phone pics I took at the dealership before I bought 'er. I had them remove the eyesore dealer badging before I picked it up. They have to pay me if they want me to advertise, especially that large.
I'll put the pics up here once the system lets me. In the meantime they're in the Garage if curious enough.
