4TH ANNUAL PUB MINI MEET CLEVELAND OHIO SATURDAY 6/5/10 9:00 AM TILL ??? (FREE!!!)

You are invited to make a road trip to the Midwest's largest Mini event at THE PUB (19304 Detroit Rd. Rocky River, OHIO 44116/440-356-6933)! Last year we had over 160 Minis, both BMW and classic attend, this year we'll eclipse 200. Get there early and claim your place in our huge reserved lot overlooked by the beautiful patio of the PUB.

The PUB is an authentic British styled bar/restaurant that has awesome food/drink all discounted for us motorers (50% off the best fish n chips in the states). It's kilted staff looks forward to our invasion all year long and loves this show.

Again we will make this much more than just a "cruise in".

-Abbey Road BEATLES tribute will rock the house down (back because you DEMANDED them)

-"Chinese" raffle with over $2000 in great prizes

-Custom designed PUB 2010 t-shirts (they sell out fast!)

-A "poker run" driving event will replace the parade

This is a FREE event. All proceeds from shirt/raffle ticket sales go to PROVIDENCE HOUSE (a shelter for children in crisis ages 0-5). The PUB will donate a portion of their proceeds as well.

QUESTIONS? Contact Greg at 440-821-3865 gregzito@zitoinsurance.com

Last year we had cars from six different states! ALL ARE WELCOME!

I go every year!!

This show gets better each year. The PUB is an incredible place. Everything is hand carved wood (the bar alone cost over $500,000 and was imported from England). The vibe is very cool. The whole staff wears kilts and is really into the event. The food is awesome and they have a huge variety of imported beers. They gave 50% off the fish n chips (best I ever had but so much food i couln't finish) and a buck off all drinks.

I heard they had at last count over 200 cars in 2009! The Beatles band was terrific and sounded perfect. They did costume changes and funny accents.

They had a ton of really cool prizes and just about everyone won something because they had so many to raffle off.

The t-shirts were extremely cool and sold out so fast I didn't even get one. I'm sure they'll make more this year.

The parade was a sight to see but the "poker run" is supposed to be a blast i'm told from people who have done them.

I saw the most amazing assortment of Coopers of every variety. Some awesome classics and "customized" Minis.

If you are in the midwest (although they had a guy from Maryland and some people from Ontario and NY) and you like road trips in your Mini this is the one not to miss!! What a party!!!!

This sounds like a lot of fun. My wife and I will be celebrating our 26th anniversary on the 3rd, and this would be a great way to make it memorable.
Any suggestions on nearby hotels? I'm thinking of driving down from Buffalo on Friday evening ...

minirab 04-24-2010 03:31 PM

Mike, I'm coming in from Maryland on Fri. and have rsv at the Super 8.

It is only two exits down I-90 from the pub (approx 2-4 miles). Give them

a try. See you there!!

reboopie 04-24-2010 07:50 PM

The Super 8 would be a good choice. I will talk with Greg and see what he recommends.

claancy 04-27-2010 03:59 PM

Tickets for the quilt raffle are now on the website: http://www.pubminimeet.com/raffle

This sounds awesome. There's a chance that I could have my new MINI by then (MINI #2 for me). I have a NAM friend who's planning to go, so I plan on this for sure!

GreenR53 04-29-2010 09:04 AM

My Fiancée and I plan on attending then headed to Findlay state park to camp for the night. Anyone up for camping???

Mowse 04-29-2010 03:23 PM

I have no special knowledge of hotel/motels....

in the area. I have the same access to the net as anyone else so ya'll have to get bizzy and do some homework to find a crash site (sorry for the poor choice of words).

Rocky River is in Cuyahoga County and ten minutes west of downtown Cleveland. Also ten minutes east of Lorain County. About 20 minute west of Lake county. A half hour north of Medina County.

PLENTY of places to stay. Get a room, grab yer Garmin, and get to the PUB!!

Mowse 05-08-2010 04:58 AM

One month and counting!

please make the trip to clevo for great fun for a great cause.
