I have the JCW Suspension, can i run 18's w/out rubbing or just stick w/ 17's??

I've had the JCW Suspension for a week now and Love it. I'm now onto changing my wheels. I know which wheels i want (in the group buy for the CSL Competition wheels), eventually getting a Big Break Kit.
The JCW S. lowered me 10mm... my MCS is my daily driver, street use only
(i don't autox or track)....
- can i run 215/40/18x7.5 (offset 45) w/out any rubbing issues?
- or should i just stick with 215/45/17x7.5 and play it safe?

Anyone with some reasonable advice, please post back.
Many Thanx and Happy Motoring  .

The consensus seems to be to run 205 40 18's, but you will find some prople do run the 215's without rubbing, as long as they don't have back seat passengers. Here's another thread with yet another link embedded in the thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=64400

it all depends on your offset with 215/40/18s

My wheels are a 42 off set, tires are 215/35/18 with H-sport springs(drop 1 inch) no rubbing fully loaded with passengers or luggage. When doing my research I found that most running 18's were using a 215/45/18 if springs or coilover were being used.
