My daughters R52 has 12mm lug bolts. Will her wheels fit on an R53 with 14mm lug bolts?

Yes, the wheels are compatable between R56 and R53, same bolt pattern and offset. The wheel bolt size (M12 vs M14) has no bearing on the OEM wheel fitment, not an issue.
