Here you guys go. These are the Konig Hypergrams. To answer your question, they did not need any type of spacer to fit on. These wheels are actually designed for big brake kit cars, and that is actually one of their advertising pitches. The stance and wheel fitment is almost perfect for my taste. I have not lowered the car yet so I do not know if they'll rub the rear shocks or not. I bought NM springs and will be putting them on some time soon. I was surprised by this wheel. For a flow-formed wheel, this is a steal of a deal wheel in my opinion. If anyone care at all, the tires are amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The instant I drove away from discount, I couldnt stop smiling because the tires are 100x better than my Contisport contact 3 ssr run flats.

Great wheel choice. The wheel's offset is perfect, right to the edge of the wheel well. Two thumbs up for your Mini!

Thank you! I did weeks of research before I pulled the trigger. I was skeptical because I couldnt find another r56 with those wheels, so I was worried they wouldn't look good.

Hi! I'am from Belarus, Minsk. This is the country near Russia. I have Mini Cooper JCW, and I have the next question:
Now I'am looking for a new setup of wheels for my mini. Hey guys, please, help me to find right specs for my new setup))

I want to run with R17 8J ET33 or R18 8.5J ET35.
Now I have stock wheels with 7J and ET48:

Nice looking Mini and nice looking road. Not sure if and ET 33 or 35 would end up outside the wheel well lines, but I'm sure someone here on this site has gone to the outside limit of offset and will hopefully supply some information.

By the way, your current Mini wheels look great on the car, too.

^^^I have those same exact wheels on my JCW and I want something thats way lighter in weight in 17x8. My biggest problem is I can never find a wheel with the right sized center hub bore (56.1) most are way bigger (66 or 73mm). Sucks that I cant find a wheel that fits without changing my bolt pattern, adding spacers or needing hubrings.

What do you have against using hub rings? If you don't want them in there, don't use them. The lug bolts hold all the stress anyway. Hub rings just make the wheel installation easier.

You can get the 6UL in a 17x8, and only 15lbs!

Funny you said Good-win because I emailed them just last week about what they had in 17x8 for Mini Coopers and they replied:
"We do not deal with Mini Coopers so we cannot verify on brake clearance specific to that chassis". But did include a link suggesting that Miata MX5 2016-2018 wheels would be the closet fit and NONE of the 6UL wheels are in that section.

So whats the offset on the wheel you posted, I don't see it.

The 17x8 6UL is a +45
https://949racing.com/17x8-6UL-4Lug.aspx

To find the 6UL on Goodwins site, go here and filter on size at the top:
http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...es/Wheels.html

Does your JCW have the 4-pot front brakes? The 6UL is supposed to be clearanced for big brakes, so I would think they will fit fine.

Yes, I do have the 4 piston brembos on the front, that 949 link you gave was a good one

Your wheel set up looks good! Whats the weight on them?
I'm also wondering if they'll rub JCW front brakes (anyone know)?

Haha, thanks! I just remember in this pic it had been a while since I washed it, and there's like, bug and bird stuff on it. I guess it's kind of hard to tell by this pic.

Thanks! I wouldn't really know about the JCW brakes, but I do know the wheels are around 17 lbs/ea in 17x8.

Old picture, but they're 17x7 Tenzo R Type-M version 1 in white and red, with 215r45 Continental DWS 06 on them. Currently experimenting with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+, and they're pretty decent for Maine winters.
