PSA for OEM rear brake lines wear issue

Hello NAM Members. Take note and take a look at your brake lines.

While upgrading a local MINI's lines we discovered that the protection sleeve on the 1st Gen REAR OEM brake line had moved up the line and allowed the ebrake parts to wear a HOLE in the line :eek2: . See pics

Once the sleeve is back in the right spot zip tie the hose to limit the sleeve movement.

So, we should be looking at the rear brakes area if this is to do with the e-brake?

Yes Rear lines, I have also edited the OP.

Yep, 1st Gen, may also be an issue for 2nd Gen, but have not looked at one yet.
