I picked up a couple of non run flat tires for our 2004 Mini Cooper S (allow OEM 17" wheels). Then... I read somewhere that I would need different wheels to put the non-run flats on our car. True?

thanks,

Chuck

omg i saw the title of this thread, and was like OMG because this weekend I took the leap away from the run flats.. I never thought I would, always stalwart, never going to go from runflats.. blah blah.. but then in another thread, and I have been watching tire threads for a year fretting over this.. flipping out.. panicking.. but reading this other thread, and the confidence over there about the tires, peoples choices, led me to try it. I need to get the flat tire repair kit. All I could think when I saw this was, oh here we go again, another sumthing to worry about with the new tires.. because someone brought up sidewalls in the other thread, and although I came away with, no worries about the sidewalls.. I still have that inner itch of concern..
