"Once you've upgraded the exhaust system, downpipe, intake, intercooler and a tune it's time to kick it up a notch with the JCW exhaust manifold which offers better air flow dynamics over the standard Cooper S or previous JCW manifolds (this is the newest design from the JCW). Ready to bolt on and will work on either the N14 or N18 engines.
Based on our research there are 4 various part numbers for manifolds used on Cooper S and JCW models over the years and this is the best design. The other 3 part numbers seem to have the same design (rounded shape runners, poor air flow, etc)."

SO i took the best flowing manifold AND ported it , cleaned up the slag/castings flaws inside and then used 2000'F ceramic coating on the outside to combat underhood temperatures AND look sexy. Obviously mini performance division thought it was necessary to upgrade the manifold with the jcw turbo so its not a snakeoil modification. 
The manifold does have the super common internal crack but it doecnt effect it one bit. Where I'm pointing is where the Crack is internally
the ONLY reason I'm not using this on my build is I'm running a custom tubular manifold..
If your upgrading to a jcw turbo , k04 or t25 I HIGHLY suggest upgrading your manifold, it definitely helps spool up and broaden the powerband a little..
