For sale is my “chili red” color 2007 Mini Cooper S, with the 1.6L turbo engine and six speed transmission. This has the sports package which includes, xenon headlights, limited slip differential, sport mode, etc. I have the title in hand, which is free and clear.

Car body is in decent shape. There are some typical, very small dings or scratches. The paint is mostly immaculate – has been paint corrected and sealed recently. All of the chrome body lines have been blacked out with vinyl tape, which sometimes does lift at the ends and chrome is exposed underneath. The black rings around the headlights are slightly flaking, as they were painted black.

Interior is in average shape for an 18 year old car. Normal wear and tear, plus one side of the drivers seat has the fabric pulling up a bit. The car audio system is all aftermarket, high quality components, amplified and sounds amazing. Wireless Car Play works flawlessly. 

The engine is in great shape. A ton has been replaced for preventative maintenance. All of parts replaced and modifications are listed at the bottom of this posting. I have paperwork for much of this (from a Mini specialist shop) and will provide it with sale. Oil replaced yearly (driven less than 2k miles per year), cabin air filter replaced yearly. Air filter, MAF & MAP sensors cleaned yearly, too. Only filled with 93 octane. Has current PA inspection/emissions that expire in January 2025.

The only item to note is that there is a very, very slow oil leak. I’m talking approximately two drops after driven and sitting overnight (not every time, either). Mechanic could not find the leak in January 2023 when I took it in and most of the parts that could leak were already replaced. I’m thinking it could potentially be old, spilled oil on other parts that leaks when it heats up. I check the oil religiously and rarely have to top it off.

Prior owner claimed to have replaced the front left axle, timing chain/water pump, and valve cover gasket but I did not receive paperwork to verify this.

Very good car, it’s my daily driver and has not given me problems despite being almost 18 years old. I am selling because I’d like something a bit larger with four doors.
