My dad bought this car from the original owner, back in '04.
I inherited it in 2021 and have been driving it as a daily commuter. I've done most of the work to keep it running myself, with some help here and there from a mini specialist. Several years ago I did a fair amount of lift to breathe a second life into the car, and it has been running strong since (thanks to videos on youtube from ModMINI!).
She's a little rough around the edges but runs strong, and if you're willing to take care of her, she still has lots of life left to give. Would love to find someone to keep her going.

Thinking through the known issues:
- The switch for opening the trunk does not work (there is a release cord that can be pulled from the inside to manually open the trunk).
- The horn does not work.
- The passenger's side door lock must be manually actuated
- The passenger's side low beam headlight is out. Was not a bulb, suspect it is something with the overall assembly but have not had time to troubleshoot (spare headlight assembly included)
- The front seats are both a little wonky- backs of the seats have some play to them- something is off with the mechanism inside
- The headliner is sagging.
- The heat and AC hardly work.
- It leaks a small amount of oil (I believe it is mainly coming from the oil pan gasket, but haven't had time to pinpoint it exactly).
- There is a recently developed exhaust leak, meaning the car is rather noisy right now and won't pass emissions
- Steering wheel has a small amount of play- not as tight off center as it once was
