Hi MiniMan - does this cam need the spark plug tubes dented in in order to work? I've heard some aftermarket cams with more lift and larger lobes will rub on them.

No but people do to be safe because years ago Newman cams with this same cam profile WERE occasionally hitting them but it WAS not supose to do that , they think they were bad grind cams.
my buddy just did his 469cam swap and he didn't dent his tubes and has no issues but IF it were me , id atleast give the tubes a ding to be safe , it take but 5min only so why not ? And the car this cam came out he DID NOT dent his tubes because I DID specifically ask that question too..lol
Just wanted to close the loop since MiniManAdam sells so much stuff here. I bought this, and was a little worried about a heavy metal cam getting smashed in the mail. Well, this thing was packed up super nice, with tons of layers of foam and protection. Got here in perfect condition. Thanks MiniMan!
