If you do track days in a MINI, you'll lower your lap times with these Schroth Quick-Fit harnesses designed exclusively for R53 and R56 MINIs. Most MINI seats don’t have great lateral support so you find yourself using your knees, thighs and elbows to brace yourself during hard cornering. The harness connects you to the seat, delivers increased feedback, and frees up your arms and legs for better things, like braking, accelerating and steering. 

They anchor to factory points, which means there’s no drilling and you don't have to worry about them ripping out of the sheet metal. They have ASM (anti-submarining) technology that keeps the lap belt low and your rear end firmly planted in the seat in case of an incident. You don't want the lap belt riding up and squeezing your stomach and intestines.

With the Schroths installed, the OEM belts remain in place and 100% operational. The harnesses can be quickly removed, giving you full use of your street car for carrying people or cargo.

Why a pair? These come as a matched pair for driver and passenger seats. Most HPDE organizations require identical restraints for both driver and instructor, and even advanced drivers will occasionally want an instructor aboard, for example, to learn a new track.
