I used this in conjunction with the bmw 65mm throttlebody inorder to fine tune the throttle pedal feel to get it like stock OR more sensitive depending on how and where I was driving. But I sold the tbody and the guy already had a pedal commander so I'm selling just this controller now.
it doesn't actually make your car faster BUT it does make it quick by allowing quicker full throttle activation and no dead spot in the throttle pedal. It also helps you rev match then and hold revs better between shifts.
These are not made specifically for our vehicles BUT I have modified the harness inorder for it to plug directly in to your throttle pedal harness woth no modifications needed. All you need to do is follow the included instructions to set it up to your liking and mount the controller where ever you'd like ( I mount it rite on the dash )..

But Not sure what year your Mini is but they actually do make these for our cars.
The one I bought fits directly on my 2013 R60 and my 2015 F55. But more than that, it fits all the vehicles below.
Specifically the BMW 2002 +, mini cooper 2002+,mini one 2002+, mini countryman 2010+. And also the same plug fits land rover and Hyundai genesis certain year models.
But again I'm not sure of your year model is so you modifying yours may have been necessary.
