I've made a d sold atleast a dozen of these ported intake Manifolds now and this one I have put the most time and effort into as it was on my personal car. I've spent numerous hours perfect this one. The ONLY reason it's getting removed is I found and bought another nla sneedspeed enlarged intake Manifold and I will finish porting and polishing that and use it instead due to its welded on panel for extra volume ,like on my other mini.
On the ported stock manifold I enlarged all 4x ports all the way down and I also enlarged the inlet opening and down in. I then sand blasted the inside and hand sanded it with 1000grit to further smoothen and polish the inside. I also cleaned the outside so it actually does shine once again and looks very presentable under the hood , not new but far better thsn most crusty ,oxidizing ones you see.. it ALSO provides much much better flow , I correct the air paths to stop cylinder #1 from getting less air and hsving fueling issue with that cylinder ( known issue with stock intakeManifold, you can find info on the web all about it ). My combo with this Manifold is a 19% pulley ( ported sc ) , port n polished ic horn and hat , 380cc , gp tune ,larger 65mm tbody , larger alta ic ( though the grs is pictured with it) , full catless exhaust and my car makes 19psi on stock ic and runs very good iats. Runs much better iat but abit less boost with my grs ic ( about 17psi) and maintains a 12.5afr while under boost.. so this WILL not lean out your car. It will ONLY HELP all around.
