Description:

After a month of ownership and about $1000 in parts/labor fixing minor issues, I was informed by the tech the headgasket is failing. No coolant/oil mixture, but exhaust is seeping into the coolant line. This is causing air in the line and issues with the heater. I've only driven it 100 miles since I bought it. I'm deciding to just cut my losses as I just don't have time for a huge undertaking when all I wanted was summer driver. Yeah, I got hosed.

2008 Mini Cooper S Manual

Winter weather package (black/red heated seats, heated/power folding mirrors, etc)
Panoramic Sunroof (works great, see video)



The bad:

• Headgasket will need done sooner than later. 
• Chip in the windshield on the passenger side. I have a repair kit and will patch it once we get some warm, sunny weather. 
• Catless downpipe and straight exhaust. This car is obscenely loud atm. I have a catted downpipe I planned to install and will include. Will not pass emissions in PA as is, obviously. 
• TPMS issue. Aftermarket wheels were missing sensors, I had new sensors installed and did a reset but still no luck. 

Other things of note:

• Water pump, timing chain and front axles were done 5k miles ago,  per the previous owner. 
• Lowered on coilovers. 
• Upgraded turbo and intercooler, per previous owner. 
• Thermostat and crosspipe were just done this week, due to coolant leak and heating issues. Leak is gone, but heating issue persists.
• Rear hatch panel/button just replaced
• Front console 12v outlet just replaced. 
• No codes. See screen recording via Torque in link above. 
• Only other trouble lights are due to previous owner installing LED bulbs, from what I understand. 

Overall, the car is pretty clean for being 15 years old. No noticeable body rust, some on the underside. 
Will come with a box of extra parts, including valve cover gasket, old turbo and intercooler and more.
