I think Black-Eye Purple is one of the best colors and it’s cool the color code label on yours isn’t the PC one that says Purple Haze.
Regarding the plate, did he do it in the garage with a monkey wrench?

Appears to have a GP intercooler?
Looks like a regular S intercooler (which is correct for a JCW for anyone not familiar) and black diverter with the JCW label instead of silver. A GP Intercooler would extend over the spark plugs.
