Swift Spec R's

So Saturday I dropped my R56 S on Swift springs and wanted to post some thought and impressions. My set up is Swifts, Sport shocks, 17" Enkei RP-01's with Cooper Zeon RS3-A's and a 20mm Whiteline rear sway.

So far the swifts seem firmer than my original sport springs, while driving it at speed on highways this is not so apparent, but at lower speeds on bumpy residentials it is. The handling seems a little better and with less roll through turns even though I dialed down my Whiteline rear sway to the lowest setting from the firmest and there is no more that before.

All in all I am happy with these springs, I didnt remove the bumpstops or shorten them so that may be part of the reason for the initial feel of bumpiness. I will have to look and see what others have done. For me the drop is perfect, I wasnt looking to slam it, just to make it look more as it should have from the factory. As I get some more time I will get a better feel for them and probably dial my rear sway back up at least to the middle. But I am looking forward to auto-x starting back up so I can push the car more and see how it reacts.

If you like a comfy daily driver ride these may be a bit much, but for a enthusiast who likes to push it I feel they are good. Here is an quick pic

Your car looks sits like mine on TSW's, maybe 1/2" lower. It looks good. When I first put mine on, I did not change the bumpstops. I bought a set of bumpstops from WMW, and they made a major improvement in how the ride is around town.

Nice looking car, hard to beat Laser Blue, IMO.
