Help!. High beam doesn't turn on!
Hi Folks, I searched a lot and could not find an answer or a hint on what is going on with my MCS coupe '12 headlights.
The headlight Low Beam works fine on both sides and when I pull the switch to turn on the High Beam temporarily, it actually works fine but when I push the switch to turn on the High Beam permanently then it does not work and other light also turn off even though the blue light indicator on the dash shows it is on I would really appreciate any help or input on what to do or where to look for the problem. Thanks |

Thanks Did you buy the car used? Is so, perhaps previous owner installed some kind of aftermarket headlights without the ability to hold high beam. After looking into headlight upgrades for my 2011 with halogens, I see a lot that say "flash-to-pass only, unable to hold high beam" or something similar. Like the Spec-D lights. If still stock, no idea, sorry. |
Yeah...check for aftermarket headlights....many are low beam only...with a flash to pass...kinda crappy...but for a certain crowd that wants to look like they have $$$ hid's....they like them...
