After reading a number of the postings, I must admit that I'm experiencing the so-called "stumble" when decelerating in my '04 MCS (10/17 build). I definitely feel the car lurch slightly below 2kRPM (seems to be in the 1700-1800 range) in 1st & 2nd gears; had the car since 11/15 and now have 1300 miles on it. I hav not noticed any problem accelerating or w/ cold starts (has been some what chilly in the NYC area lately) etc... Sounds like requesting v3.6 might make sense, but how can I tell if the car is already running this release? Any other recomendations? Also, what is an "ECU"?

that could also be your drivetrain + engine mount play (normal)
at those speeds. but if you driven MT before (which Im assuming)
you know wat im talking about, right?

you sure its the motor itself?

yes, I have driven a stick before (although I admit it has been a few years ago). It is quite possible that the lurching is normal at the lower engine speeds, however, my experiences sounded similar to the others who describe the stumble problem. I'm guessing that you don't know how to tell what s/w the car is running either.

Anyway, I liked the photos of your car. My MCS also has black trim, however its on a C/R body. I went for the bonnet stripes as well (I call mine the "Red Barron&quot. The white rule lines are a very nice touch. Also, I installed the MINI Ralley Lites to get the full effect.
