It is taking a long time to load pages today. Other sites I visit are not having this problem...anyone else experiencing problems?

mini_muddeatr 05-26-2009 10:39 AM

Sucks bigtime

schatzy62 05-26-2009 11:03 AM

100+ page load errors for over the last 4+ hours. Some pages will finally load after the 5-6th attempt, But many still do not load.

So slow that I almost gave up trying to respond.........

Juiceman 05-26-2009 03:47 PM

Yep I also noticed the site slowing down as of yesterday. Today is real bad.

Motor On 05-26-2009 04:02 PM

Some loads are sluggish but working, for me.

I brought the issue to the attention of IB, hopefully it will be resolved soon.

IB JT 05-26-2009 04:02 PM

We are experiencing network delays, bear with us while we fix!
Sorry for the delay...

Adrian

Perfusion 05-26-2009 04:09 PM

Yep, I noticed it too earlier... Seems to be a touch better now, though.

windfall 05-26-2009 04:28 PM

I have also noticed that it loads more slowly than other sites of equal complexity. I like the breadth of the content though.

s2k7 10-01-2009 03:39 PM

The site

Do you think this forum site way too slow or just my computer & connection?
I tried at home and work, relatively the same speed.
Perhaps too many items in this forum? Big database?

Just a question.

wandrur 10-01-2009 03:50 PM

It's rarely ever slow for me. A couple months back I think there were some ads that slowed things down a bit, but that was taken care of, I think. Maybe do a speed test online and check your net connection?

NightFlyR 10-01-2009 04:24 PM

check your connection speed here

I have OC3 (45mbs) at work and I feel the site speed a little slow.
I don't know.

ron-s mini 10-02-2009 06:32 AM

My Comcast cable connection tests at 194mbs.

OctaneGuy 10-05-2009 02:22 PM

Maybe its your browser. Download Google Chrome and see how fast NAM is.

MINIdave 10-13-2009 12:33 PM

How Slowwwwww can you go?

Slow enough that it took three days of attempts to post this complaint!

Come on IB, pry open the wallet and open up the bandwidth enough that people can actually use the site!

Crashton 10-14-2009 05:32 PM

Running sloooowww here too.

Gil-galad 10-14-2009 05:34 PM

gaffer 10-26-2009 06:51 PM

This is getting old, has NAM switched to "dial-up"? BTW: What MINI site has everybody been going to that have left here?

Oxybluecoop 10-26-2009 07:02 PM

.

gaffer 10-26-2009 07:14 PM

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MINIdave 10-26-2009 07:31 PM

It's just pitiful..............

I'm pretty much done with this place, I hate to abandon my friends, but this is just too frustrating to continue........

I agree. As you can see by my number of posts vs. when I joined, I don't post very much... BUT, I have really enjoyed the tech help, stories, pictures, and MINI fellowship, and have tried to help whenever I thought I could add something constructive. I have also supported many of the vendors with my wallet. Since IB or whatever took over, something seems to have gone down hill and it looks like many long time members have been "jumping ship" ever since.

MLPearson79 10-27-2009 05:57 AM

Can I ask what browser y'all are using? I'm unable to duplicate this problem using Safari or Firefox, and that's across OSX and Windows XP and 3 different networks varying from DSL to work LAN...

A ticket has been opened with IB, just so you don't think you're being ignored...but no one on this end has been able to reproduce the problem.

gaffer 10-27-2009 06:45 AM

Macintosh dual processor G-5 OS X version 10.4.11, running Firefox and/or Safari, also a Windows notebook at a different location and server..... same results. This is the only site that is slow on both machines.

MLPearson79 10-27-2009 08:44 AM

I am experiencing the slowness today at work on a PC with IE. IB has been notified anyway, but today I am seeing the problem.
