CONDITION REPORT--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This work is in original condition. The piece is solid with bright vivid colors. There is a light accumulation of fine dustings of acrylic in the inner detailed crevices of the sculpture and under the aluminum canvas skins. A small accumulation of film can be found at the underside of the piece and under the front hood bonnet. Light blemishes are located on several trim pieces that were created and applied by the artist during the final completion of the finished piece.

When Revlon Corporation approached Brazilian Artist & Designer Theo Pinto , They asked him to transform a Mini Cooper 4-door Hatchback into a moving art piece. The cold steel and aluminum skins became his canvas of choosing to showcase the 2015 Sinful Colors' Nail Polish Collection. Pintos' own signature "Drip Painting" aesthetic would prove valid in this impressive undertaking. Revlon and Theo Pintos' use of social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter has catapaulted Theo Pintos' work while stimulating the art and design community into wanting more of Theo.

Interestingly, two key features of Pintos' vision are extraordinary. First, Theo designed & put forward the concept of raising his 3500 lb canvas off the ground using a custom infrastructure of engineered steel and securing his work in the verticle position, 90 degrees to the horizontal. Twenty feet high scaffolding was also erected around his canvas for Theos' work platform as he prepared for his nail paint application.

Secondly, Theo Pintos' chosen painting material would be a massive "120 gallons of Sinful Colors' Acrylic Nail Polish". Pinto soon began applying multiple layers of the 24 bright vivid colors by hand application using his signature "Drip Painting" technique. This, combined with the effects of gravity, resulted in a beautiful array of colored lines cascading down his canvas. The skillfull artist repeated this technique hundeds of times using the various hues, revealing a finished texture similar to tiny streams of nail paint, each claiming their designated space.
