Reviving this with some suggestions. I've had the same problems with smell in the ac system. Have tried the ac "cap" to add foam cleaner, but I think I got a better way. My problem is that I couldnt access the space between the blower fan and evaporator. I realized this week that I could remove the blower motor resistor, voila super good access to scrub out the plastic with a brush and soak the evaporator with klima cleaner.

The resistor is was white and has a TORX screw on top of it holding it in. It's not easy to remove the screw but not impossible.

 

The blower motor fins. I tried spraying lysol through the blower on the other side, but as we can see the spray doesn't get every where. So now time for a soak with Klima.

Hi all,
just finished with swap my Getrag 5 to Getrag 6. I have Mini One from 2006 - "Seven edition", and process is slightly different as for Midland. Issues what I faced:
1) Clutch slave cylinder is different on my R50 mini, and I got broken one (I got Gearbox and all what was attached to it from donor R53). And I have still some air in hydraulic line, but clutch is working now
2) Revers gear sensor is differentб plus cable is too short
3) Air filter box is not fully fits, I need to reform plastic with heat
