when I try to check out with a pick up it is adding 20.50 shipping to the cost. If you have it in stock, I was going to purchase it and pick it up this afternoon.

Hmm, and you are selecting "pickup" from the drop down shipping option box? If thats the case, just make a note in the comments section that you'll be picking up and we will take the shipping cost off for you!

Ordered and done. It was weird though, the first screen took off the shipping second screen put it back on, then in finalizing it took it off. Either way its all good. I'll see you in a couple of hours.

out of curiosity, will this brace double over as a strut mount support to prevent the tower bulge?

From what i heard this is more of an issue with the first gen MINI's than the second gen MINI's, however the strut brace would provide more stability but would not completely prevent this. It comes as seen in the pictures in the first post.
