15" wheels + JCW brakes

For those interested, the OZ Superleggera 15" x 7" do indeed clear the JCW upgrade calipers.

Not a lot of clearance but if your wheels are straight, there's a bit of space left (less than a wheel weight height).

I'll post some pics. later.

You should post the offset and what the closest points to contact are.

Isn't it nice that MINI wouldn't even sell an 06 JCW with anything smaller than a 17" wheel? I have been told that my 15x7.5, +43 SSR's would probably fit (they have more room in all deirections than the O.E. 16's) but I just opted to put the JCW engine kit on my 03 instead of paying for a lot of things I didn't want on an 06.

Or a $1400 "package"... The cost of the factory JCW option is really $7700. Effing bastards!

If you shop for winter by 06 JCW - you'll see the 15's that fit.

Take this link - and click skip to wheels

Alex, K1 Racings won't fit?

What's the weight on the alternative wheels?

here are some pics. These are 15 x7. I believe ET is 37. Tons of spoke clearance. A bit thight on the outer edge though.
