Vibra-Technics RH mount failing?

Don't mind the dirty engine bay. I've got some cleaning to do.

On to the issue. I've noticed that my shiny almost new mount is getting squashed back. Nearly covering half the Allen head on the rear as shown in the photos.

Transmission and lower mount both have powerflex inserts and are in great shape.

I've noticed slightly more engine rebound than usual as well.

What gives? I've emailed the manufacture. Pisses me off because at the time (they're currently only ~$200 USD from select vendors) I paid over 250 for this mount. Maybe someone else could chime in. Maybe I'm just high and this is normal for these mounts. But it doesn't look normal.

How many miles have you put on it? It's not a permanent part, I'm sure they fail eventually. Looks like it can be rebuilt maybe?

Maybe 10-15k on the mount. Normal driving conditions.

You are correct it can be rebuilt however I'm wondering why it failed so quickly. I've gotten more life from the stock mount.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has had quality issues with theirs. Fr all the pictures I've seen others appear to hold the motor a little higher and the rubber is not getting smashed back like mine is.

Hmm so was yours purchased when they first released them? Maybe the internals weren't as durable in the first runs? And when did you email them, if it was only this weekend hold off on to many complaints, they may get back with you Monday and resolve this

No it was purchased in fall of last year. I'd have to dig for a receipt. I did email them Friday. Hopefully they do resolve this as I do like the mount. It's a very high quality product. Maybe I just got a unit that was built on a Friday and the employees were ready to get home 😁

And a side note I did pay over $300 for the mount looking on mini mania. The cheaper one is for the earlier r53's. At a lifespan of 15k miles is not acceptable!!!
