Beautiful 70 degree sunny day in Watkins Glen at WGI for the opening day. We set a record of 206 MINI Coopers gathering to take laps on the track. We then had a dinner provided by Towne Mini of Buffalo and Mini of Rochester at The Seneca Lodge. This is where past F1 drivers gathered after the US Grand Prix. All 206 MINI's met at a winery on Seneca Lake where the State Police temporarily closed the road south so we could all "motor" together to the track. Others stopped to see the group and waved as we passed by. It's great to be part of a group of people that all enjoy their MINI's, the day and each other. Thanks to the dealerships for making it a fantastic day also. MINI forever for me.
