Come along on a run from Monterey south on Hwy 1 through some of Californias most scenic country. We will also take Naciemento-Ferguson Rd east through Hunter Liggett so have your papers in order the military will check them. Up River Rd with a winery stop then on to the Penny Farthing in Salinas for a late lunch (3ish). Come celebrate 5 years with us. More info in our forum about caravans to the meetup and times.

 

As a veteren of this run, I can tell you Larry is not kidding! Be sure you have your license, registration and proof of insurance as these will all be checked before allowing the cars onto the military base. It would be cool for the guy on the gate if you photocopied all the docs onto one page.

But the roads are well worth this little hassle.






Also, mutiny if you must but enforce a stop at Nepenthe in Big Sur. The world's MOST scenic restaurant and bar. Yes, that's the bar behind Mike and Lauren, right on the cliff edge!






I'd love to come along, but I don't think the CHiPs would like Shiva in his latest incarnation.
