Texas Speedwerks low profile jack points
Texas Speedwerks low profile jack points
As promised, we're releasing our low profile jack points... I just picked them up. They look killer. I took it upon myself to install a set on my car, since I was missing two thanks to some cone killing runs! :D
Black anodized, machined from solid billet aluminum and a full 3/4" shorter than OEM. Our's protrude 5/8" past the bottom skirt, while the OEM protrudes a whoppin' 1-1/8". Mike designed them so they'll work with the OEM jack, too.
Mounted via 1/4-20 stainless pan head screws and Simpson Strong Tie toggles... We ship a little vial of Loctite 262 with the set, so they won't loosen up. Install is a snap - takes about 5 minutes! Why stainless? Well, we gotta think about those people that live in places other than Texas, right?
Are they strong? Well, in a word, yes. They have survived countless car jackings over the year... :D And, they made it through a run in with a tire barrier at Texas World Speedway, but the jack points stayed put! (Sorry Dr. Mike, I had to mention that!) They've stuck around through a few offs here and there, along with countless cone killing runs which snap the OEM pucks off like nobody's business.
If you're as tired of losing your OEM jack points as we are, or as tired of figuring out how to jack up your lowered car, look no further!
Note - you should still be using jack stands if you're going to be working under the car... That's smart no matter what you have to do under there, or what kind of jack points you have!
Look for a special group buy to be announced VERY soon!
